Virtualization Cuts Capital and Operating Expenses by 75 Percent at Microsoft
Microsoft IT managed almost 230 System Center Configuration Manager 2007 site servers most of which resided on dedicated physical hardware and were typically underutilized. The solution reduced operating and capital expenses by whopping 75 percent - and improved business continuity, scalability, and availability. It further improved environmental sustainability and provided for quicker deployment of Configuration Manager site roles.
